JEE 2023 is an important engineering entrance examination that is conducted every year at the national level all over India. Students appear for this exam to gain admission to some of the top-most engineering and technical institutes in India such as NITs, IITs, CFITs, and so on.
JEE (Advanced) 2023, also known as IIT-JEE, is the second stage of the JEE exam. Students can attempt this exam after appearing and clearing the JEE (Main) exam. The registration for JEE Advanced 2022 will only begin from April 30, 2023. Students can register for the exam online, once they confirm their eligibility for JEE Advanced 2023. The JEE (Advanced) application form is released by the authority with a correction facility. Although, this facility will only be available for certain details only. Candidates must submit their final JEE (Advanced) 2023 application form before May 4, 2023. No more application forms would be accepted post the completion of the Registration portal. Candidates must also keep in mind to print the filled online JEE (Advanced) 2023 application form and fee receipt for future reference.
The eligibility criteria to apply for JEE Advanced 2023 are spread into five criteria. All candidates need to fulfil all the criteria in order to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.
It is necessary for candidates to be amongst the top 2.5 lakh successful candidates in JEE (Main) exam.
Candidates need to be born either on or after 1st October 1998 in order to apply for JEE Advanced 2023. However, candidates that are a part of PwD, ST, and SC, are given a relaxation of five years. Hence, these candidates need to be born either on or after 1st October 1993.
Candidates can only write the JEE advanced exam for two consecutive years just for two times.
Candidates need to appear for the class 12th or equivalent exam for the first time in 2022 or 2023. Moreover, candidates need to have studied subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates who attempted to write class 12 or equivalent exam in 2021 or prior are not allowed to appear for JEE advanced 2023. However, there can be an exception if there is a one-time special measure provided.
Candidates whose admission at any IIT was cancelled (regardless of the reason) after joining are not allowed to attempt JEE advanced 2023. However, candidates who were admitted to a preparatory course in any IIT in 2022 for the first time can attempt to write the JEE Advanced 2023 exam.
The JEE (Advanced) 2023 application fee can be paid online through the official website. Candidates can use Net Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards to make the payment for the application form fees.
The application fee for JEE Advanced 2023 is different for Indian national candidates and Foreign national candidates.
