Two-Year Gap Rule
- Minimum 2-year gap after Class 10 required
- If gap not completed:
- Max 4 subjects allowed
- Fees for extra subjects forfeited
- Remaining subjects can be attempted only after completing the gap

- Centre allotted only by NIOS
- Centres are generally allotted at:
- District Headquarters
- Sub-Divisional Headquarters
- Other nearby locations close to the learner’s Study Centre (AI)
Answer Book Rule
- 1 answer book per subject
- No extra sheets provided
Hall Ticket & Result
- Hall Ticket & Certificate carry scanned photo of learners
