  3. 3. What is Admission Process at ALLEN Career Institute, Bengaluru Center?

    Process for Admission at ALLEN includes:
    (a). Collect information regarding courses, fee structure, class schedule, and class venue. You can also get detailed brochures for Classroom Courses.
    (b). Purchase and fill application form either from ALLEN all India form issue counters or from ALLEN study centers for Rs. 600/-. Also you can fill application form online from ALLEN website for Rs. 500/-. You can also choose option of Cash on Delivery and can pay for the Application Form at your doorstep.
    (c). Submit Application Form at any ALLEN study center or you can also send duly filled application form at any ALLEN study center. You need to affix one passport size latest photograph on application form. In case you are qualified for any scholarship please contact at ALLEN study center.
    (d). ASAT*: For admissions in PNCF division (Class VI to X), Medical (Nurture & Enthusiast course) & JEE Mains & Advanced (Nurture & Enthusiast course) admissions are strictly through Allen Scholarship cum Admission Test.
    (* No ASAT for these courses: Medical Leader, JEE Mains & Advanced Leader, KCET (Nurture & Enthusiast course)
    (e).Pay your course fee online via NEFT and Internet Banking. You can also pay fee through Cash in your nearest branch of Central Bank of India, HDFC Bank or Axis Bank. Also you can visit your nearest ALLEN study center to pay your fee via Cash, Cheque and DD or through Credit Card-Debit Card. Please keep the fee receipt with you and bring it to ALLEN Center for reference. In case ASAT is applicable in your course, you can pay course fee only after qualifying entrance exam.
    (f).Collect your accessories including UID cards, Attendance cards, uniform and study material. Pre-medical students can get study material after depositing the fee. Engineering students will get study material from their respective class counters after class commencement. The Photo ID card will be provided to the student on their respective class counter within 15 days of class commencement.

    No this is a branch office as each and every activity is centrally planned & implemented by our KOTA center.
  5. 5. When do I have to report at ALLEN after Admission confirmation?

    You can reach ALLEN center 4-5 days accordingly before class commencement so that you can make necessary arrangements for accommodation and conveyance.
  6. 6. I belong to Chennai and my ward wants to take admission in IIT-JEE. Can I come along to ALLEN Bengaluru Center or it is necessary to bring him/her for Admission formalities?

    Yes, you can come alone for Admission process. You have to bring one latest passport size photograph of the student.
  7. 7. I belong to Bihar and want to take admission in IIT-JEE course in Bengaluru Center but I am not able to come to Bengaluru Center. Is it necessary to come to Bengaluru Center to take admission?

    No, it is not necessary to come to Bengaluru center for admission. You can purchase Application Form from our Form Issue Counters and can pay course fee online via Internet Banking and offline via Cash in any branch of HDFC Bank, AXIS Bank or Central Bank of India. For ASAT applicable courses you'll first have to qualify ASAT exam and then you can pay your course fee.

    You can also purchase Application Form Online on ALLEN website: www.allen.ac.in by paying charges through Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking and can also choose ‘Cash on Delivery’ option.

  8. 8. I am from Chennai and my ward wants to take the admission in ALLEN Institute and I don't have internet connection. Also ALLEN Center is far from my home town, can you tell me how I can fill Application Form alternative except online?

    You can make a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- in favor of "ALLEN Career Institute, Kota", payable at Kota and send it at our corporate office, Kota along with an application which contains your residential address and contact details, then we will dispatch you Application form at your address. Also you can visit your nearest 'Form Issue Counter' and can purchase ALLEN Application Form.
  9. 9. I am sending my Application form at ALLEN Bengaluru center, how will I get the confirmation that my form has been accepted?

    Once the form is received at ALLEN center you will receive confirmation message along with your Application form number. After that you can proceed with fee deposition. For reference you can keep a photocopy of filled Application Form.
  10. 10.I have filled Application Form online and now I want to pay my fee but I am not able to come to ALLEN center. How can I pay my course fee?

    After filling online Application Form you can pay your fee online via Internet Banking or NEFT from ALLEN website. Also you can print Challan Form from ALLEN website and can pay fee via Cash in your nearest branch of HDFC Bank, AXIS Bank and Central Bank of India.

    Also you can visit your nearest ALLEN Study Center and can pay your course fee there itself, showing your ALLEN Application Form Number via Cash/Cheque/Demand Draft/Debit Card-Credit Card.

  11. 11. I have filled Application Form and want to pay course fee by coming to ALLEN Institute, Bengaluru but I can come on Sunday only. Are you open on Sunday also and can I pay fee on Sunday also?

    Yes we are open on Sunday also and you can visit us in first half for fee deposition.
  12. 12. I have deposited fee at Bengaluru center via Cheque, how will I get a confirmation that the fee has been updated in Student’s records?

    You will get confirmation message over your registered mobile number when your Cheque is accepted at ALLEN and you will have to bring along your fee receipt at ALLEN Center.
  13. 13. Is there any student care unit available at ALLEN?

    Proper care will be provided in case of emergency. Normally first aid is also available at all centers.
  14. 14. Is there any hostel facility for students at ALLEN?

    No hostel facility is available at Allen but if the student takes admission in our associated schools, Boys & Girls hostel facilities are available in the vicinity of our study centers.
  15. 15. My ward has taken admission in Pre-Medical Nurture course but is residing in area far from his class location. Does ALLEN have any conveyance facility also?

    Allen is not having any conveyance facility of its own available for students, however we can suggest third party solutions.
  16. 16. Will there be any vacations for students in between of their yearlong classroom sessions?

    For Class VI to VIII: ASK
    For Class IX and X & Class XI and XII: No vacations other than Diwali and National Holidays.
  17. 17. I belong to Bengaluru city but I have taken admission in Mumbai Center in class 9th. Can I change my Study Center?

    Yes you can change your study center by paying applicable center transfer charges in Accounts section.
  18. 18.What is the cost of living / charges for Boarding & Lodging for a student in Bengaluru?

    For conveyance and residence there are many options in Bengaluru City. You can come and visit here and can choose the best option suitable for yourself.
  19. 19. How will I come to know that my ward is attending his classes regularly?

    At ALLEN we have Attendance Monitoring cell that monitors student’s attendance and you will be informed via SMS and phone call if your ward is not attending his classes regularly.
  20. 20. My ward is studying in ALLEN in class IX. Now on being promoted to next class does he have to fill a new Application Form?

    No student promoted to higher class need not to fill new Application Form.
  21. 21. Will you provide any library facility?

    Allen study material is enough for studies. And our study material covers all the topics of a particular class.
  22. 22. Do you provide any demo classes?

    No we don't provide any demo classes.
  23. 23. Why don’t you give Demo class / lecture to the students?

    Anyone can’t judge the teaching methodology or teaching style in one or two lectures. Also our system includes study material and doubt counters benefit of which you can take after registering for yearlong Classroom Contact Program.
  24. 24. How do you ensure girls’ security?

    We have a safety system especially for girls with timely monitoring of hostels. We also have food monitoring system, nursing care and mentoring by faculties themselves.
  25. 25. If student is joining ALLEN in class XII, can he opt for the integrated or the day batch?

    It shall depend upon child’s current school or PU. In case of the transfer, ALLEN can recommend schools for the same but all the transfer related formalities shall be undertaken by the student and will be his own responsibility.

    The Class venue is student’s choice. The student can make a choice between the 8 study centers of Bangalore or can also take up classes in any school or PU in which Allen is running an integration. For the same please refer to the closest study center of Allen.

ABOUT PRE-MEDICAL

  1. 1. What are the various courses offered in Pre-Medical at ALLEN Bengaluru Center?

    Various courses are offered at Bengaluru center in Pre-Medical including:
    a. Nurture Course for X to XI moving students.
    b. Enthusiast Course for XI to XII moving students
    c. Leader Course for 12th appeared/passed students

    Yes, you can direct admission if you have qualified TALLENTEX EXAM. Otherwise you can reappear in next ASAT by re-registering yourself.

    Classes are conducted in only English medium.

    Yes the preparation will be in English only in English Medium classes for Bengaluru centers.

    Yes, our course material is developed accordingly as well as we provide Special Board classes and subjective board test are conducted during the session.

    You classes will be conducted only in your chosen Allen study center.

  14. 14. I am not able to take admission in Pre-Medical Nurture Phase-I and Phase-II is too late. So how will you cover the syllabus?

    There is no difference in all the Phases and ALLEN’s best faculty will teach you. Some extra classes, if required, will cover your syllabus soon.

    As such extra classes are not a part of Classroom Courses, but some extra classes may be conducted on valid requirements as decided by faculties.

    Orientation session is motivational program conducted for the students admitted in ALLEN. There are orientation sessions for new students taking admission in Pre-Medical courses. Timings and venue for orientation session will be delivered via SMS to the students and will also be available at your respective ALLEN study center as and when organized by the center.

    ALLEN provides you complete study material that is developed in accordance to NCERT syllabus, though if you want you can purchase NCERT books for your reference.

    Yes, by paying 30% extra for the course fee the student can apply. Customized course curriculum shall be given for the same.

    Yes, you can take admission in School/ Pre-University Colleges in Bengaluru City also. Some schools have agreed to give admission to Allen’s CCP students. You can get details from your nearest Allen’s study centre.
  22. 22. How will student be able to synchronize between the school and ALLEN for 11th and 12th?

    During the academic session in 11th and 12th class, NCERT based syllabus will be covered at ALLEN also.
  23. 23. What is the qualification of faculties in ALLEN?

    We have IITs, NITs, MBBS and PhDs faculties from reputed Institutes of India with at least 5-7 years of experience in their field. The selection criteria are same for all.

    At all ALLEN centers, best and well qualified faculties are hired for Pre-Medical including MBBS and PHDs. The selection criteria are same at all Centers.

    Students will be informed on notice boards of their respective classrooms. Also student can consult with Pre-Medical counselors who will guide him/her for their target exams.

    We have 3-tire development system

For example, after giving various govt./pvt Olympiads & National talent search exams, according to his/her performance, a student & his/her parents may get a clear idea that he/she may go for Engineering after class 10th.

    In PNCF i.e.in early classes, first motive is to develop strong concepts in every subject. Those students once develops the strong foundations are trained at advance level (i.e., higher level) targeting various competitive exams like NSO, IMO, NSTSE, NTSE, etc. A very few students who are ahead of their time & shows skills to work very hard are trained at excellent level for govt.     A student who joins Allen’s PNCF first get strong insight in concepts required to strengthen insight in every subjects that are taught at Allen. Allen helps student to perform better than his/her previous classes but depending on his aptitude & hard work a student can reach to any height.     A Batch allocation test is conducted on a day before the class commencement. On the basis of performance of the test batches are decide accordingly.
    According to result 3 batches are Foundation, Advance & Excellent.
    (a).Foundation Batches : These batches are for the average students naming FT1, FT2 i.e., Foundation
    In this batch NCERT syllabus is covered.
    (b).Advance Batches  These Batches are for brilliant students who are far more intelligent than Foundation naming AT1, AT2 i.e., Advance. In this Batch NCERT syllabus is covered along with Olympiads. The main focus is on various Olympiads conducted by various organizations.
    (c).Excellent Batches  This batch is a target for the Olympiads like NTSE etc. In these batches after the course completion of SA2 preparation for the next session is also done. (If applicable)

  29. 29. Why have you kept Sunday classes as our child gets only one day free from their hectic schedule?

    As we have reduced our class time from four hours to two and half hours and there we generally focus on math and science syllabus and Sunday we can cover the social science and English. Further we tell them that our English and SS faculties are their all 7 days so students can come at their convenient time and ask their doubts which they have missed in their regular class.

    Basically they are used for taking admission in reputed as well as foreign universities and it also develops their application skills.
  31. 31. Why numbers of teaching hours are reduced?

    We have reduced no. of teaching hours only in class 6th, 7th and 8th as they are still young and they have less concentration.

    We have a standard policy throughout. As we have thousands of students studying at our institute and it becomes difficult for us to change the policy.

    Through regular minor and major tests and feedback of faculties, Students are assigned their batches.

ABOUT ALLEN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PREPARATORY STUDIES (ASPS)

  1. 1. What is ASPS (ALLEN Scholarship for Preparatory Studies)?

    At ALLEN we provide scholarship to Eligible students of Classroom Contact Program (CCP) as per criteria given on ALLEN website and prospectus. Student can apply for any scholarship by providing required documents at their respective ALLEN Center.
  2. 2. Is there any scholarship for the SC/ST students or for the students whose parents are there in defense personnel and police personnel?

    No, there is no category based scholarship criteria. The student will get scholarship as per ASPS criteria only.
  3. 3. I am a student of ALLEN in current session and my real brother/sister wants to take admission this year. Is there any scholarship?

    Yes, we provide siblings scholarship that is 10%. It is necessary that both real brother and sister are studying in same session and only one student can avail this scholarship.
  4. 4. Sir my daughter was studying in your institute, in Leader Course (2014-15) and I want to admit my son in Nurture Course (2015-16). As per ALLEN policy, my son is eligible for up to 10 % discount in fees?

    No, sibling scholarship can be provided to any one of real brother and sister and both students should be studying in same session.
  5. 5. I am NTSE I stage qualified (10th class) and want to take admission in Leader Course Can I get the scholarship?

    No, you are not eligible for this scholarship because student can take scholarship on the basis of last year or current year’s achievement.
  6. 6. I am eligible for two scholarships for NTSE II Stage and having 3rd merit in 10th class. So can I avail 100% scholarship?

    No, you can avail only one out of two scholarships at once, whichever is higher. No two scholarships can be clubbed together.
  7. 7. My son has appeared in NTSE 2nd Stage exam this year but the result has not come yet. If I deposit his course fee now, how can I avail his scholarship later?

    You can deposit fee now and can fill Prescribed Scholarship form later on from ALLEN Front office or from ALLEN website. Last date of submitting scholarship form with required documents is 30th September, 2015 only. DATE TO BE UPDATED.

  8. 8. My son had taken admission in ALLEN and had availed 10% TALLENTEX Scholarship and he is now also eligible for 50% scholarship on basis of qualifying NTSE 2nd stage. Can he get refund of 50% fee that he has deposited now?

    As per ASPS the student can avail only one scholarship and now your son can get refund of remaining 40% scholarship. The student has to fill and deposit Prescribed Scholarship form at ALLEN office or online from ALLEN website.
  9. 9. I want to take admission in ALLEN and I am eligible for NTSE 1st Stage scholarship but I am not able to come to ALLEN center and can deposit fee online via Internet Banking or from HDFC/AXIS/CBI Branch from my hometown. How can I get scholarship Challan from ALLEN website?

    No, you can’t get scholarship Challan from ALLEN website but you can visit ALLEN center and get Challan by providing required documents for scholarship. Further you can also deposit fee as of now and can later on fill prescribed scholarship form from your nearest ALLEN Center or from ALLEN website.
  10. 10. My two students are studying in ALLEN in Nurture and Pre-Nurture course. Last year they both had availed Sibling Scholarship. Are they eligible for Sibling Scholarship in Enthuse course also?

    Yes the students can avail Sibling Scholarship this year also if both of them continue in this Academic Session also.
  11. 11. I have taken admission through ASAT and have got 20% scholarship also. Do I have to appear in ASAT next year also for scholarship?

    Next year the student can avail scholarship on the basis of any scholarship criteria as mentioned on our website and in our brochure as per our policies. Also the student can avail scholarship through ALLEN Champ and TALLENTEX.
  12. 12. I was a student of ALLEN in class 10th but have not studied class 11th. If I take admission in Pre-Medical Enthusiast Course will I get any scholarship or privilege fee benefit?

    No, you are not eligible for privilege fee benefit as only an ex-ALLEN student, who has studied in previous year can avail privilege fee. Further for any other scholarship you can refer our website or detailed brochure.
  13. 13. I am a student of IIT-JEE NURTURE Course at ALLEN Bengaluru Center and want to change my course to JEE MAINS in next class. Can I avail the benefit of privilege fee?

    Yes, you can avail privilege fee benefit. Before that you will have to change your course from Accounts section and then you can pay your course fee.
  14. 14. What will be the fee structure if ALLEN teachers are teaching in schools or PU campus?

    It shall vary from case to case (depending on each school) and also depend upon the scholarship child is entitled to in ASAT exam.

ABOUT ASAT

  1. 1. What is ASAT?

    ASAT stands for ALLEN Scholarship cum Admission Test. ASAT is required in PNCF courses and IIT-JEE/PRE-MEDICAL NURTURE and ENTHUSIAST Course. For taking admission in these courses student has to qualify ASAT first.
  2. 2. What are the criteria of ALLEN Scholarship cum Admission Test (ASAT)?

    ASAT is conducted for IIT-JEE (NURTURE and EHTHUSIAST), Pre-Medical (NURTURE and ENTHUSIAST COURSE) and PNCF courses at Bengaluru Center with below criteria:
    a.Test pattern: Objective.
    b.Syllabus: IIT/PRE-MEDICAL Nurture: NCERT syllabus of Class IX & X and IQ. IIT/PRE-MEDICAL ENTHUSIAST: NCERT Syllabus of Class XI and IQ. PNCF: NCERT Syllabus of Science, Maths of previous class attended with IQ.

  15. My ward wants to take admission in 9th class. Is it necessary to appear in ASAT or he can take direct admission?

    It’s necessary to appear in ASAT. Direct admission is not allowed in courses in which admission mode is through ASAT. Though, if the student is TALLENTEX qualified he is eligible to take direct Admission.
  16. I had appeared in last ASAT for IIT-JEE NURTURE Course for Mumbai center and have got 20% scholarship; can I now take admission in Bengaluru Center?

    Yes, you can take admission in Bengaluru Center on the basis of ASAT of Mumbai Center but you can’t avail scholarship of Mumbai Center in Bengaluru.

ABOUT FEE STRUCTURE/PAYMENT

  1. 1. My ward wants to take admission in ALLEN but will not be able to come before class commencement so is there any other way I can pay fees?

    Yes, you can pay the fees either online via Internet Banking or can make online transfer via NEFT. For NEFT please refer ALLEN website ‘how to apply’.
    You can also pay via Cash in any branch of either Central Bank of India, Axis Bank or HDFC Bank in your hometown by downloading Challan from ALLEN website.
  2. 2. I will not be able to bring Cash to pay fee. What other modes are available to pay at ALLEN center?

    You can pay by Cheque or Demand Draft issued in favor of 'ALLEN Career Institute, Kota' or can also pay by Credit-Card/Debit Card. Though, in Card payment bank charges: 1.5% (for payment of below Rs. 50000/-) and 2% (for payment of above Rs. 50000/-) are applicable.
    Also you can make online payment through Internet Banking or RTGS. Details for the same are available on our website.

  3. 3. Can I pay my fee in three installments?

    No, you can pay your fee in either Lumpsum or two Installments as mentioned in ALLEN website or detailed brochure.
  4. 4. I am eligible for ASAT Scholarship how much amount do I have to pay after deducting scholarship?

    ASAT scholarship can be availed either at the time of registration on Lumpsum amount or at the time of paying second installment on total amount. You can get your detailed fee Challan from ALLEN website.
  5. 5. I wish to pay fee for both Nurture and Enthusiast Course at once, can I get any consideration in fee?

    No, there is no provision of paying fee for two years at once. You can pay fee for first year only, second year fee will be payable next year only.
  6. 6. What is the minimum amount I have to pay to confirm my admission at ALLEN?

    You will have to pay at least first installment to confirm your admission at ALLEN.
  7. 7. I have qualified last ASAT for IIT-NURTURE Course, when can I pay my course fee?

    You can pay your course fee three days before the class commencement date.
  8. 8. I have purchased and filled Application Form from ALLEN Form Issue Counter Agra and will send my Application Form via courier to ALLEN Bengaluru Center. Can I send along Demand Draft/Cheque of Lumpsum amount also?

    Yes, you can send Application Form by courier along with Demand Draft/Cheque of First Installment or Lumpsum Fee if entrance test is not applicable in your course. In case ASAT is applicable in your course you will have to first qualify ASAT and then you can send the Cheque/Demand Draft by deducting the scholarship, if any.
  9. 9. I am taking admission in Pre-Medical Nurture course at Bengaluru Center. Can I pay course fee at Mumbai Center?

    Yes, you can deposit course Application Form as well as course fee at Mumbai Center through Cheque/Demand Draft.
  10. 10. My ward is not well and would not be able to continue his classes at ALLEN. Can I send refund request through email?

    No, for refund you have to come to ALLEN Center or you can download refund form from our website, www.allen.ac.in, and submit the refund form within the prescribed time or before last date of refund. No request of refund over email or by any verbal communication will be entertained.
  11. 11. What are your refund policies?

    At ALLEN we have ONE MONTH REFUND POLICY as mentioned on our website and in our detailed brochure ON PAGE 24. The student/parent has to apply for refund within the mentioned dates in our refund policy. No request after that date will be entertained what so ever.
