FAQ Related to JEE Main 2020

If you are a JEE Main 2020 aspirant and confused about the exam papers, then here are some frequently asked questions to help you solve some of your queries related to JEE Main 2020 Exam.

Ans. Earlier it was April 5th to April 11th but due to COVID-19 outbreak, NTA has pushed the JEE Main Exam new dates to last week of May 2020.

Ans. National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that Paper 2 of JEE Main 2020 will be conducted separately for B.Arch and B.Plan. The exam centres have been reduced to 233 exam cities and 9 cities across abroad. In the last year, the total number of Indian exam cities was 264.

Ans. JEE MAIN is conducted twice a year in the month of January and April. You can appear for three consecutive years starting from the year when you are 12th appearing. You have in total 6 attempts.

Ans. The exam pattern for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 is different for engineering aspirants, architecture aspirants, and planning aspirants. Here’s the JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 (B.Tech) exam pattern:

Ans. Two chances are always better as best of the two scores will be considered for preparing final rank.

Ans.JEE Main 2020 Online Test (mock tests) are available in online mode. The tests will also be downloadable by students who can work at their pace if they have a computer system. Students who do not have a computer may register and walk into any of the JEE Main 2020 practice centres that will be announced soon and will be able to practice every Saturday and Sunday. Ans. No, AADHAAR CARD number will not be required. The candidates will be able to use any Government identity Card number such as voter ID, Passport, Ration card and more.

Ans. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling of JEE Main 2020 qualified candidates.

In case a candidate has class XII from one state but appeared for improvement from another state then the state of eligibility for such candidate will be from where he / she has first-time passed class 12th.

Ans.A diploma holder can apply in JEE Main to appear for JEE Advance 2020 but his her rank and score for JEE Main will not be declared. Diploma holders cannot apply for admission in NITs and CFTIs through JEE Main.
