NTA JEE Main Mock Test

NTA, or National Testing Agency, is an official body that carries out entrance examinations for those who want admission/ fellowship to higher education institutions.

  • NTA provides free JEE Mock tests and lectures online that are free on its official website.
  • A student can take the exam either in English or Hindi. There are almost 3000 Test Practice Centres so that the students from remote areas can also take the online computer-based test.

JEE Main Mock Test PDF Download

NTA provides mock tests for the students to familiarise them with the Computer Based Test. The CBT processes must be well understood by the candidates with the help of mock tests.

The aspirants should take these mock tests for practice. Here are a few steps to download the JEE Main Mock Test PDF.

  1. Visit the NTA’s official website - www.nta.ac.in/Downloads.
  2. Fill in the details of the exam you want to take the mock (JEE Main in this case).
  3. Once you click on Download Mock Test, the mock papers will be downloaded as ZIP files. Similarly, there is an option to select the year, JEE main exam and paper, in order to download the mock test papers.
  4. The students can either practise on the computer or take a print of these papers and solve them later.

JEE Main Mock Test: How to appear for mock tests at practice centres

There is a network of test centres across India formed by the NTA so that the aspirants who want to prepare for JEE Main can appear for the mock test and get used to the Computer Based Test mode of examination.

The students are allowed to visit these centres and practise free mock tests. However, they have to register for these mock tests. For this purpose, they can locate the nearest test practice centre from the NTA’s official website.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, it is not possible for students to appear in the JEE Main mock test at Test Practice Centres.

How to Register for the JEE Main Mock Test at Practice Centres?

The aspirants have to register for the mock test and book a slot. The registration process is given here:

To appear for the JEE Main 2022 mock tests at the TPCs (Test Practice Centres), candidates have to follow the stepwise registration process given below:

Step-1: To register, go to the official website of NTA. Click on the “Mock Test Registration” button.

Step-2: Candidates need to register by using their Email ID, mobile number, and password. Then, click on ‘Log In’.

Step-3: Select the date of the mock test as per your preference.

Step-4: Enter the pin code/centre that you have chosen to appear for the mock test.

Step-5: From the list of options given, the candidates shall have to select the name of their preferred centre and click on the ‘Confirm Booking’.
