Before submitting their application, all applicants are urged to review the JEE Advanced 2024 eligibility requirements to see if they qualify for admission or not. Candidates must meet all requirements for JEE Advanced eligibility, including those relating to age, the number of attempts, qualifying exam scores, and more.

This year, there has been some relaxation in the eligibility criteria for the candidates. Here are the 5 criteria:

  • JEE Main 2024 Scores - Candidates from all categories should be among the top 2,50,000 candidates in the JEE Main 2024 BE/B.Tech exam.
  • Number of Attempts - A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
  • Prior Admission to IITs - Regardless of whether the applicant stayed in the programme or accepted an IIT seat by reporting "online" or at a "reporting centre" in the past, the applicant will NOT get admission to an IIT.
