JEE is an important engineering entrance examination that is conducted every year at the national level all over India. Students appear for this exam to gain admission to some of the top-most engineering and technical institutes in India such as NITs, IITs, CFITs, and so on.
JEE (Advanced) 2024, also known as IIT-JEE, is the second stage of the JEE exam. Students can attempt this exam after appearing and clearing the JEE (Main) exam. JEE Advanced is an online exam organized every year by one of the seven IITs, namely IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, and IIT Kharagpur.

The registration for JEE Advanced 2024 will only begin from April 21, 2024. Students can register for the exam online, once they confirm their eligibility for JEE Advanced 2024. The JEE (Advanced) application form is released by the authority with a correction facility. Although, this facility will only be available for certain details only. Candidates must submit their final JEE (Advanced) 2024 application form before 30 April, 2024. No more application forms will be accepted after the completion of the Registration portal. Candidates must also keep in mind to print the filled online JEE (Advanced) 2024 application form and fee receipt for future reference.
The eligibility criteria to apply for JEE Advanced 2024 are spread into five criteria. All candidates need to fulfill all the criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2024.
Candidates must be amongst the top 2.5 lakh successful candidates in JEE (Main) exam.
Candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1999 to apply for JEE Advanced 2024. However, candidates that are a part of PwD, ST, and SC, are given a relaxation of five years. Hence, these candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1994.
Candidates can only write the JEE advanced exam for two consecutive years just for two times.
Candidates need to appear for the class 12th or equivalent exam for the first time in 2023 or 2024. Moreover, candidates need to have studied subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Candidates who attempted to write class 12 or equivalent exam in 2022 or prior are not allowed to appear for JEE advanced 2024. However, there can be an exception if there is a one-time special measure provided.
Candidates whose admission at any IIT was cancelled (regardless of the reason) after joining are not allowed to attempt JEE Advanced 2024. However, candidates who were admitted to a preparatory course in any IIT in 2023 for the first time can attempt to write the JEE Advanced 2024 exam.
The JEE (Advanced) 2024 application fee can be paid online through the official website. Candidates can use Net Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards to make the payment for the application form fees.
The application fee for JEE Advanced 2024 is different for Indian national candidates and Foreign national candidates.

Step-1: Candidates need to visit the JEE advanced official website to get the application form.
Step-2: Candidates then need to register their mobile number and email ID.
Step-3: Once the mobile number and email ID are verified by the links sent on the mobile and email ID, candidates must log on to the JEE advanced portal.
Step-4: On the portal, candidates need to click on the application form button and continue to fill out the JEE advanced 2024 application form. Candidates must fill in all the details correctly and revisit the details before submitting them.
Step-5: Once the details are filled in, candidates will be directed to the payment section. Here, candidates can choose their preferred mode of payment.
