NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION (NTSE) by NCERT Delhi

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a talent search programme to identify and nurture the talented students studying in the Class X. The examination consists of 3 sections, namely Mental Ability Test (MAT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Language Comprehensive Test (LCT). The items in the MAT, LCT and SAT are multiple choice questions. Each question has four alternatives. The candidate has to select one correct answer from the alternatives.

The number of questions, maximum marks and time allowed are as follows:

Award & Scholarship :

Scholarship of Rs 1250/- Per Month for class XI and XII.
Scholarship of Rs 2000/- Per Month for Under Graduates and Post Graduates.
Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D in accordance with UGC norms.
