BAL SHREE HONOUR: This is an evaluation at three different level, local, zonal and national level. Students are evaluated for their creative and innovative aptitude in four different field.

b) Creative Performing Art
c) Creative writing
d) Creative Science
After evaluated at all level, student will be honoured by Bal Shree award.
This honour will be offer by President of India.

Eligibility: Students of Age Group 9 to 16

NATIONAL MATHS TALENT COMPETITION (NMTC): This is a non-routine kind of maths contest. It will be conducted in two stages. This test helps to see the student’s aptitude towards mathematics at very early stage.

Eligibility: Students of class 5th to 12th

NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION (NTSE): This test comprises of maths/science/social science and mental ability. This test helps to see the overall academic aptitude and IQ level of the student. It has three stages. At the third stage, student get an opportunities to face interview. 1000 students from all India level are receiving national scholar award and scholarship till they study.

Eligibility: Student of class 8

NATIONAL CHILD AWARD: The state level steering committee decides Nominations for National Child Awards for Exceptional Achievements. A child with exemplary talent in education, sports, cultural activities etc can apply for it. Application form can be received from the district educational office in the respective district. Selected child receives the medal and cash prize by President of India.

Eligibility: Any child with age 4 to 15

Initiative for Research and Innovation Science: IRIS science fair is the great opportunity to young scientist. It leads to the junior Noble Prize offered by Intel at International level.

Eligibility: In order to participate in IRIS you need to fall in the either of the following categories:
• Category I: 5th – 8th Std.
• Category II: 9th – 12th Std.

NATIONAL STANDARAD EXAMINATIONS (NSE): These examinations are in Junior Science, Astronomy, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These examination demands highest level of academic strength from high school students. They leads to Indian National Olympiads in each subjects which further leads to International Olympiads in each subject.

Eligibility: Students of class 8 to 12

KISHORE VIGYANIK PROTSAHAN YOJANA (KVPY): Selected students gets high amount of scholarship for their further study and reorganization at national level laboratories. They also get chance to participate in research oriented summer workshops.

Eligibility: Students studying in class 11 and 12

NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS: This is a forum open to young scientists in the age group of 10-17 years as on December 31 of the calendar year. This event of NCSC is not restricted to the school-going children only but is also open for the non-school children from the marginalized sections of the society who can be involved as team members. Every year it is held at three levels – District, State & National level.

TECHNOTHLON: It’s an IQ test which tests your aptitude towards engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati welcomes school for the Technothlon- The International School Championship! Technothlon, whose final round will be held at IIT Guwahati during its annual techno-management fest Techniche, tests varied facets of logical reasoning and deductive ability of the participating students and brings out the budding technocrat in them.

Eligibility: students of classes 9-12 from around India and various corners of the globe

OLYMPIADS CONDUCTED BY CBSE: CBSE is also conducting various Olympiads in the subjects of Maths, Science and computer. Students studying at various CBSE schools at high school level and higher secondary level can participate.

OLYMPIADS CONDUCTED BY KVS: Kendriya Vidyalayas are conducting Junior level Science and Mathematics Olympiads.

Eligibility: Students of class 8 to 10 studying at KVs.

CSIR DIAMOND JUBLEE INVENTION AWARD FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN: In order to enhance creativity amongst school children, CSIR announced Diamond Jubilee Invention Award for School Children on 26 April - the day celebrated as WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY throughout the world. The objectives of this competition are: to capture creativity and innovativeness amongst school children and create awareness about IPR.
There is total number of 60 awards to be given each year. The first prize winner becomes eligible for WIPRO's Young inventor's Award carrying a medal and a certificate besides cash prize of ` 50,000/-.

Eligibility: Any Indian student enrolled in an Indian school below the age of 18 years as on 31st July can apply.

INNOVATION IN SCIENCE PURSUIT FOR INSPIRED STUDENTS (INSPIRE): The strength of the innovation infrastructure of a nation has enormous significance in the competition between emerging knowledge economies. The realization of Vision 2020 calls for action and a well designed innovation infrastructure.
Generation and nurturing of a human talent pool capable of utilizing and developing first principles in science is both a pre-condition and integral part of such an innovation infrastructure. An India specific model for attracting talent with an aptitude for research and innovation, for a career in basic & natural sciences is required. INSPIRE is an innovative program developed by the the Department of Science & Technology to attract talent to the excitement and study of science at an early age, and to help the country build the required critical resource pool for strengthening and expanding the S&T system and R&D base. It is a program with long term foresight.
INSPIRE has three components:
i. Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent (SEATS)
ii. Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)
iii. Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC)

Eligibility: from class 6 to college level.

NATIONAL MATHS CONFERENCE: The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India has been organizing conferences in various parts of the country to meet and deliberate on important issues of Mathematics Education, particularly at school level. Besides the usual inauguration, valedictory functions, there will be endowment / memorial lectures on applied mathematics, methodology and history of mathematics, group discussions, exhibitions, recreations in mathematics, paper presentations, students sessions, Distinguished Mathematics teacher awards, cultural programmes and visit(s) to places of historical / mathematical interest. This apart, the hosts have the privilege to include some more items depending on the time frame. The life members will pay delegate fees at concessional rates
